Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists specialize in treating early-childhood speech and language delays and disorders. Evaluations, assessments and treatment programs are routine and play-based with a primary focus on improving expressive, receptive and social communication skills as well as feeding and swallowing skills, within the child’s natural environment. Parents are always included in the diagnosis and treatment processes to ensure treatment carryover to every part of a child’s daily routine.

Occupational Therapy

Pediatric occupational therapy enables a child to better engage in his or her daily routine by strengthening motor and sensory skills. Our therapists train the child in accomplishing everyday tasks , and use specific techniques to improve and teach daily living skills. Therapy sessions are family centered and interactive, and take place within the context of a child’s day at home, school or daycare. OT guides parents on how to choose appropriate toys and activities to encourage development, and how to incorporate the strategies used during therapy into the child’s routine.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists specialize in treating a variety of neuromotor disorders and developmental delays. They evaluate each child, and after consultation with the parents, create a treatment plan that is uniquely designed to fill in the gaps of the child’s development. Our therapists focus on improving balance and coordination, strength, and gross motor skills to help each child reach their developmental milestones.

Special Instruction

Our special instructors address areas of development such as cognition, social/emotional, communication and play. They collaborate with the child’s family and caregivers to establish and implement curriculums. Activities are designed as multisensory and interactive experiences that encourage overall growth and development.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Our autism services are based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). ABA targets the core characteristics of autism through individualized treatment plans that focus on social interaction, communication, play, and daily living skills. Our trained ABA therapists work with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families to deliver evidence based therapeutic outcomes.
